Quick Shots #94: Buddy Marks his Spot, Craig Nelsen Mosaic Gets Church Approval.

Back in October a new Mosaic appeared in Blagden Alley, a wonderful rendering of Buddy, Craig Nelsen's dog. At that time it's home outside Craig's Studio was not planned (this was due to a mis-understanding with The National City Christian Church) Its good to see that the Mount Vernon Place United Methodist Church and their Pastor, Donna Claycomb Sokol, on learning local artist Craig's motives decided that his hope for a 'club' for lonely 'shut-ins "is doing what every church should be doing at its best" so, now Buddy is on display on the Church's steps. (incidentally, both Craig and Buddy have visited with the parishioners on a recent Sunday)
The temporary display will be 'on-the-steps' of the Mount Vernon Place United Methodist Church at 9th and Mass Ave NW. until the 19th of December.

You can see more of Craig's work, in Blagden Alley NW, its on display and free.
