Shaw: New Restaurant at City Market at O

More information, according to  EaterDC:

"The project is from chef Robert Gadsby, who will open Bacaro in a 1,210 square foot space in the Shaw development. The space has room for about 50 people and will offer wines by the glass and by the bottle. The mix will be about 80 percent wine offerings and 20 percent food, and Bacaro will aim to teach customers more about wine."

There is a new restaurant going in next to Dolci Gelati and opposite Giant at City Market at O. The ABRA sign is posted for 'Bacaro' (my apologies if spelled wrong) - of course for the first time in 2 years I did not have my camera or notepad with me - so from memory.....

Restaurant serving Modern American
65 Seats (Total Load)
Sunday through Thursday 7am till 2am
Friday and Saturday 7am till 3am
No music or dancing etc.

Bacaro joins Convivial, Chef Cedric Maupillier' planned restaurant on the corner of 8th and O Streets NW.
