MVT: Mount Vernon Triangle's FREE "Tunes in the Triangle" Concert Series Continues Thursday June 25th - Lunchtime and Evening

Mount Vernon Triangle area residents, workers and visitors are invited to enjoy free, live music on Thursday, June 25th as the Mount Vernon Triangle Community Improvement District (MVT CID) continues its concert series, “Tunes in the Triangle”. The concerts, which showcase local artists of genres ranging from pop to jazz, this month will be held on Thursday, June 25th and will feature:

  • Phil Kominski with Top 40/Rock/Pop from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the 5th & K Street Plaza, NW (City Vista)
  • Justin Trawick with Bluegrass/Roots music from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Milian Park at 5th & Mass, NW
The concerts are free and guests are encouraged to pack a picnic, bring a blanket or chair, friends, family, kids and pets. Evening concerts will include popular games – corn hole, hula hoops, bubbles and more – with free lemonade available courtesy 450K Apartments, free brownies and treats courtesy Le Pain Quotidien and food offered for sale by favorite food trucks. The third and final concert of the series will be held on Thursday, July 23rd and will feature:

  • Andrea Pais with Soul/R&B/Pop from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the 5th & K Street Plaza, NW (City Vista)
  • Alison Carney – Soul/R&B from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Milian Park at 5th & Mass, NW
