BETHESDA: Met Bethesda Celebrates Passover This April with Featured Specials

This April, Met Bethesda, known for its American fare cooked over an open wood-fired grill,will celebrate Passover with three festive specials.  Exclusively offered during dinner service, restaurant-goers can enjoy the Kicked-Up Matzo Ball Soup with avocado and chilies ($10), and the Glazed Corned Beef Brisket with heirloom carrots & potatoes, mustard maple glaze and a matzo meal popover ($19), each accompanied by a complimentary basket of matzo bread.  To complete the meal on a sweet note, one will want to indulge in the Untraditional Kugel, chocolate noodle pudding with warm whiskey sauce ($8).  The Glazed Corned Beef Brisket is just one of the delicious recipes featured in Met Bethesda’s Owner/President Kathy Sidell’s cookbook, When I Met Food: Living the American Restaurant Dream, which chronicles her career from film producer to restaurateur.  Within the book Kathy shares her business savvy peppered with encounters with influential people and favorite recipes for the aspiring chef.  Additional information about When I Met Food can be found at: http://www.amazon.com/When-Met-Food-American-Restaurant/dp/1937134318
