Macon Bistro & Larder, the French and
Southern-inspired bistro in Chevy Chase, located at 5520 Connecticut
Ave., NW, 20015, will host a five-course wine dinner featuring
prestigious Loire Valley winemaker,
Alphonse Mellot, on
Wednesday, May 11th at 7 PM.
Priced at $150 per person (tax and gratuity included), guests will have
the pleasure of enjoying five courses of seasonally inspired classic
dishes with a Southern twist, paired with wines from the
Sancerre area of the Loire Valley.
Guests will enjoy the following vintages:
2014 Domaine La Moussière
Rose; 2012 Sancerre Blanc "Cuvee Edmond"; 2012 Sancerre Vieilles Vignes
Blanc, Les Romains; 2008 Sancerre Rouge "En Grands Champs", as well as
2005 Sancerre Rouge "Generation XIX".
Seating is limited to 30 guests, and reservations are required.
