WEST END: Blue Duck Tavern Unveils A New Collection of Winter Cocktails

Blue Duck Lounge and Blue Duck Tavern at Park Hyatt Washington, D.C., located at 24th and M Streets, NW, are pleased to unveil a collection of new winter cocktails.  Guests can look forward to handcrafted libations showcasing a variety of seasonal herbs and fruits, spices, and house-made infusions.  There are 10 new cocktails as well as two new winter “warmers” just in time for snowy weather.  Among the newcomers is a new cocktail collaboration with One Eight Distillery, The All-American, featuring Untitled #3, a sourced six-year-old wheated bourbon aged in local vigilante coffee barrels, creating a smoky whiskey with notes of bittersweet chocolate and roasted coffee, and paired with house amaro and white peppercorn.  This exclusive cocktail is priced at $20.
Power & Passion
The new tempting libations including the Uptown Sour made with rye, yuzu, and mulled wine; the La Manzana made with tequila, apple, rosemary, and jalapeno; the Power & Passion made with rum, cinnamon, passion fruit, and sage;
Push It
the Push It made with yellow chartreuse, red pepper, and Szechuan; the Fig 75 made with gin, fig, mandarin, and Champagne; the Perfect Eyebrows made with vodka, cranberry, ginger, and lime; the My Christmas Tree Is Still Up made with rhum, vanilla, and peppermint milk;
Isn’t She Lovely
the Isn’t She Lovely made with vodka, Cappelletti, and burnt rosemary; the Fancy Tea made with whiskey, Lapsang Souchuong, and elder berry, and the Not Too Sweet made with gin, blood orange, and tarragon. Cocktails are priced at $16.
Dulce Amor
Guests can also keep warm on the cold winter evenings with Blue Duck Tavern and Lounge's “Warmers,” including the Chartreuse Hot Toddy made with green chartreuse, cardamom, and Genmaicha, or the Dulce Amor made with mezcal, chocolate, cinnamon, and Espelette coffee, priced at $16.  Finally, those seeking a non-alcoholic refreshment can opt for Blue Duck’s seasonal “mock-tails” like The Kalorama is made from a combination of weekly rotating seasonal shrub, lime cordial and club soda, or The Mule with seasonal jam and ginger beer, priced at $9.
