RAMW: Summer Restaurant Week Suggestion #6: Bibiana Osteria-Enoteca, Downtown - August 14-27


The Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington will host Summer Restaurant Week, August 14-20, inviting participating restaurants to offer three-course lunches for $22 and three-course dinners for $35, excluding tax and gratuity at each location. This bi-annual event invites diners to experience Washington’s top restaurants at an affordable price point. 

Bibiana Osteria-Enoteca located at 1100 New York Ave, NW, 20005, will be offering classic Italian menu featuring a choice of antipasti, secondi and dolci prepared by Executive Chef Jake Addeo. Beginning with the primi, guests will choose from tempting starters such as Panzanella, heirloom tomato & bread salad with cucumbers, green olives and creamy sherry vinaigrette; Burrata with English pea purée, Calabrian pepper jam and candied walnuts; Polpette, Sicilian-style meatballs, currants, pignoli nuts, polenta and pecorino, as well as Big Eye Tuna Carpaccio with pink peppercorns, seaweed salad and olio primo. EntrĂ©es include Yellow Tomato “Strained” Risotto” with asparagus, squash and whipped ricotta; Summer Corn & Ricotta Stuffed Ravioli with pecorino-tarragon fonduta; Caramari, Sungold tomato stuffed local squid with baby arugula and cherry-tomato salad, as well as Roasted Chicken Breast with faro terrine, sour cherry reduction and summer giardiniera. For the perfect ending, a selection of tempting dessert will be available. Highlights include Cioccolato, dark chocolate hazelnut bar with salted caramel gelato and cocoa-coffee soil; Baba al Rum, rum-soaked sponge cake with vanilla bean Chantilly filling and pistachio gelato, as well as Torta al Limone, lemon olive oil cake with passion fruit curd, raspberry citrus sorbet and pistachio crumble

Bibiana’s Restaurant Week menu will be available August 14-27. Lunch is served Monday through Friday, from 11:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., and dinner is served Monday through Thursday, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
