Dino in Shaw: May Be The Best Brunch in DC?

Dino's Grotto is just growing and  getting better and better.......

"Dino’s Grotto is now into its 3rd week of Sunday Brunch, and we’re starting something special in the downstairs bar (which has become such a destination that we’re now calling it the Grotto Bar at 1914)."

To get this off the ground Dino's Grotto has developed their HANGOVER BRUNCH!

"Hangover Brunch is served in the downstairs “Grotto Bar at 1914” only. First off is a bit of "Hair of the Dog" Grotto Bar style: Instant Breakfast is Hayman's Old Tom Gin, an egg, worcestershire sauce, simple syrup, Thai Sriracha, blackstrap bitters, lemon juice. It is good for what ails you from the night before, or just a good eye opener if you were virtuous. Then you can choose any of our brunch booze cocktails for a second beverage, or a tap beer if you need hydration! And to fill your stomach once revived, either a main or 2 starters. All for $25."

".....our regular brunch in the upstairs dining room features a $12 Bottomless option for Bloodys or Mimosas. And no ordinary bottomless are there: Not the cheapo supermarket "champagne" and out of a bottle OJ, not an out of the bottle bloody mix at the Grotto. Our mimosas are fresh squeezed OJ and Prosecco di Treviso. And the bloody features our house made Summer Tomato essence, lots of veggies, spices and Thai Sriracha. Please limit your bottomless to 2 hours max. Remember that we are not allowed to serve anyone who appears intoxicated, so we might have to limit your refills."

Dino’s Grotto is located in DC’s Shaw neighborhood on 9th St NW, between T and U Streets NW. The restaurant is comprised of two floors of a historic rowhouse, with a bar on each floor.
