Jazz at 10th Street NW Community Park

Because of the likelihood of bad weather The 10th Street Community Park will reschedule this event..see below;

"The Jazzy June event scheduled for tonight in the Tenth Street Community Park is being cancelled because of the rain/thunderstorm possibilities.  The rain date is next Thursday (June 19, 2014) from 6:30-8 PM.  Please join us then for some great music!"

Summer is here for real...so outdoor events need to find a place on your 'to-do' list. Locally in Shaw there will be so many events promoted, that some of the neighborhood events will get lost...here's a great concert to attend. Relax in the 10th Street Community Park and soak up the sounds of Jazz.

 Titled as "10th Street Community Park Jazzy June!" The friends of the 10th Street Park are presenting a 'picnic style' jazz concert on Thursday, June 12,  6:30pm to 8:00pm (Rain Date scheduled for Thursday June 19, 2014)

The concert will feature Dimitri Nassar in a jazz trio of piano, bass, & drums.

So, bring a lawn blanket or camping chair to the park for the parks first Jazzy June event!
The friends of the 10th Street Park will be providing light goodies for all or feel free to bring your own

The 10th Street Community Park is located between L and M Street's NW on 10th.
