7th and L St NW - a new mural by Jay Hudson

Update 9/24/2013 - :(  Mural has been painted over - picture ( top of post)

So another Mural is destroyed...This time Jay Hudson's wonderful Mural, (see below) next to Passenger, on 7th Street NW has been painted over in "institutional green" - which is fitting I guess!!!!

Can anybody really believe that this looks better than the Mural (that had only managed to survive 5 weeks)

When I can identify who destroyed this work of art I will publish it here.....check back over the next few days;

So that didn't take long (less than 10 mins since the post).... Douglas Development Corp. painted over the Mural because someone didn't like the content....WTF!!! its art. We don't go to the Galleries and paint over what we don't like or agree with???? BAD CALL DDC.

Completed 8/13 Jay Hudson has a new mural up on 7th Street NW, by L St. (located next to The Passenger) Political in content, but colorful and bold, this is a welcome new artwork in the Mt Vernon/Shaw neighborhood
