Blagden Alley to add 126 Studio Apartments (with no vehicles policy)

The two lot's that have been awaiting development (9th Street NW & M Street NW) at Blagden Alley are about to go through the first stages of the approval process. Developer, SB-Urban and Architects Hickok Cole, have submitted plans to develop two apartment buildings, that will form a small campus at the southern end of the historic alley.
Project Overview
9th Street - Street-Scape
M Street Street-Scape
The plans include a 5 story, 82 unit (studios) apartment building at 917 M Street NW, and a 5 story, 44 unit (studios) with retail, at 1212 9th Street NW. Note: Both structures will include 1 story below grade, 4 story above grade. The plan is for the buildings to be connected via a glass walkway.

There will be a no vehicle policy, similar to "The Patterson" at Dupont Circle. The plan includes extensive 'parking/storage' for bicycles.
