Georgetowns "Cady's Alley Holiday Bazaar" Returns - Starts November 22nd

 

The Holiday Season is on the horizon, and the folks at Cady's Alley have announced that they will be returning, and repeating their Holiday Bazaar after the success from last year. Described as "Georgetown’s Design District's.... Pop-Up Open Marketplace with Emerging Local Retailers: Pico Vela, Kim Schalk, IKKON, Elaine B Jewelry and STYLECABLE All Nicely Wrapped Up in One Showroom". The Holiday Bazaar is definitely something to add to your "places to visit and shop" holiday list.

Washington, DC.  To help make spirits bright this festive time of year, EastBanc and Jamestown are embracing seasonal celebrations again by hosting the original Cady’s Alley Holiday Bazaar for the second year running. Beginning Saturday, November 22 and running through Sunday, January 4, the pop-up open marketplace will feature a collection of five up-and-coming online fashion and accessory brands including Pico Vela, Kim Schalk, IKKON, Elaine B Jewelry and STYLECABLE. The 8,000-square-foot split-level holiday emporium is located at 3330 Cady’s Alley, NW in the heart of Georgetown’s Design District.

On December 4 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., the pop-up Cady’s Alley Holiday Bazaar merchants will host a launch party for patrons to meet the faces behind the retailers. The event is complimentary and open to the public.
This year’s group of selected retailers showcased in the Cady’s Alley Holiday Bazaar offer a combination of fashionable clothing and accessories for both men and women and includes:

Pico Vela's beautifully modern sweaters celebrate the creativity, spirit and individuality of women. Each design is hand-loomed by artisans in the USA using natural fibers and custom blended colors. A Pico Vela sweater will become that unique piece in your wardrobe that you will go back to again and again.

Kim Schalk women’s wear is innovative fashion at an unexpected price point. Classically cut silhouettes with a bit of an edge pretty much sums up the design aesthetic of this line. Influences range from a nautilus to the Empire State Building from one piece to the next. But there is always a bit of vintage glamour in every thing that is labored upon.

Sophisticated and cool, IKKON is a mecca of everyday menswear for the modern man, backed by some of the finest designer names on the market. They live and breathe fashion and want to give access to everyone who craves it, styling posh businessmen, scene-loving urbanites, and every man in between.

Elaine B. Jewelry is a line of entirely handmade jewelry at McGuffey studios in downtown Charlottesville, Virginia. Many of the materials are milled from recycled metals, and all of the design and construction is done by hand in studio. Inspiration helps create tiny sculptural worlds using traditional jewelry materials, incorporating geometric elements to make objects that are light and wearable but have a weighty presence.

The Cady’s Alley Holiday Bazaar hours of operation are: Monday, closed; Tuesday-Thursday, 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.; Friday-Saturday, 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.; Sunday 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. The Holiday Bazaar will be closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Years Day.
