LongView Gallery Expansion - Latest News

Update: 10/28/2013: Photographs - some fun stuff (bottom of post)

Ever since the announcement that LongView Gallery was planning an expansion I have had inquiries about when the expanded LongView Gallery would open?
For those that are not aware, with the new addition to The LongView Gallery it will now feature nearly 9,000 square feet of interior space and 2,500 square feet of gated, outdoor patio space. 
So here is the latest word...via Facebook

"Join us on November 5th, from 8-10pm, to celebrate the newly expanded Long View Gallery and check out our newest exhibition by gallery favorite, Tony Savoie."

The newly renovated, additional, space for Art Exhibits and social gatherings

Current exhibit are paintings by local artist Ryan McCoy (see below) an absolute must see....and in early November (and part of the new extension celebration)  a new exhibition of/by Tony Savoie, who returns to LongView, that will display through the end of the year.

Update 10/28/2013
Some extreme exterior fun on the 9th Street NW facade of the gallery. Once the trucks, ladders and workers have gone the streetscape will have be drastically changed (in a fun way) just look.....

Styrofoam bricking, a wooden board cover the total exterior (including new space)

Just a few screws, nails and a dramatic & fun exterior is up

For the preservationists....this is just short term, non-permanent change...so no freaking please
