The Vegabonds at Bayou: Friday, August 12th Nashville based musicians make DC tour stop to showcase New South Rock sound from their highly acclaimednew album, “What We’re Made Of”

Georgetown Events’ New Orleans style restaurant and live music venue, The Bayou, will welcome Nashville’s fastest rising stars, The Vegabonds, to the stage on Friday, August 12th, 2016. Specialguest Groove Fetish opens the show starting at 10:30pm. Tickets are available for $7 online or $12 at the door.

The Nashville based new age southern rockers The Vegabonds are touring across the south and up the eastern coast to promote the release of their fourth album, “What We’re Made Of.” After seven years of touring the world, a few original projects under their belt and an unwavering devotion to their craft, The Vegabonds have completed what might be considered their best work thus far. “What We’re Made Of” consists of hard hitting songs that don’t hesitate to touch on real life situations like growing up, moving on, heartbreak, love, loss and the struggles that accompany it all. They recently released their first single, “Oh My Lord,” from the album to AAA radio as well as three music videos that let the viewer take a peek into the influences behind the songs. Now with a third European tour in the works, these guys aren’t slowing down anytime soon.
