Update: 12/9/2013
Le Pain Quotidien are delaying their opening until later this week (good idea considering the weather) The plan is for the doors to open to the public either Thursday or Friday of this week. (We will stay on top of this and let you know when the time is locked in)
Meanwhile, Le Pain Quotidien will be taking part in the Mount Vernon Triangle CID Santa Celebration Thursday night, at the 5th & K St NW plaza between 4:30 and 7:30 pm. The event is free & open to the public, so come on by and taste some of their sweet desserts. http://www. mountvernontriangle.org/wp- content/uploads/2013/12/ TRIANGLE-TIMES-December-20131. pdf

The long-awaited opening of Le Pain Quotidien at 433 Mass Ave will be Tuesday, December 10th
The fact that this is happening is not news to most, but as I am focusing a little more on the MVT, I though it would be a good idea to revisit the story. I dropped by Le Pain Quotidien today, and they really look like they are ready to go.
A little dusting and sweeping, a placement here and there and you will be able to get your coffee and pastries, soups salads and all the "elegant boulangerie far" you can manage. For the surrounding neighborhood, I cannot think of a better tenant in the oft disputed property, and I will certainly make the trip (more than once a week)
There is an exclusive promotion arranged with the MVTCID , Le Pain Quotidien is offering a complimentary
small coffee (retail only) with a print out of the Mount Vernon Triangle Newsletter. The offer is
valid only for December 10th, 2013 - one per guest please.
Also Le Pain Quotidien will also begin their relationship with the neighborhood by participating at the MVT Santa Celebration on Thursday, December 12th Santa Celebration at the 5th and K Street NW Plaza, 4.30pm till 7.30pm, with free delicious desserts and discount vouchers.
You can get more information about Le Pain Quotidien at their web site..here

You couldn't ask for a better renovation or a better choice of tenant. Welcome |
