Republic Set for Ugly Sweater Sing Along Party on December 20th in Takoma

Republic is becoming a go-to place for fun this year, we had Septembers 'Yappy Hour' then Octobers "Halloween Weekend" and Novembers 'Friendsgiving' and now Republic will be getting into the holiday spirit with an Ugly Sweater Sing Along Party on Saturday 12/20 featuring live band holiday-themed karaoke with Lara Supan of the South Rail, starting at 10pm. 

Chef Danny Wells will be making a batch of his top secret family eggnog recipe, and bar manager Brett Robison will serve the "Mull it Over," his version of mulled wine, made with mulling spices, honey, fresh orange zest, cinnamon and coriander, La Cabotte Cotes du Rhone, Catoctin Creek 1757 Brandy, and Pierre Ferrand Dry Curacao, for $10 a glass. 

The band will select the attendee with the best "ugly" holiday sweater, and the winner will receive a $100 gift card.
