DUPONT: The Riggsby Now Serving Breakfast, Lunch in Addition to Dinner
Michael Schlow’s The Riggsby, in the Carlyle Hotel at 1731 New Hampshire Avenue, NW is now serving breakfast and lunch, in addition to dinner.
In line with the restaurant’s approachable American menu of throwback favorites updated for a modern palate, the lunch menu offers some of the dinner’s signature items such as the All American Tavern Burger and Jimmy’s Special Chopped Salad, alongside new items such as Crunchy Eggplant Parm with basil marinated tomatoes and frico chips, and a truffled egg salad sandwich with confit tomato, arugula salad and housemade potato chips.
On the breakfast menu, guests can expect items such as a smoothie of the day; a breakfast sandwich with eggs, prosciutto cotto, pecorino and cracked black pepper; and buttermilk pancakes with caramelized bananas, orange zest and crushed hazelnuts.
Breakfast is served from 7:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Monday through Friday, and 8:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Lunch is served from 11:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., seven days a week. Brunch will be forthcoming. Reservations are available through OpenTable.
