Open for a few months at 519 H Street NW, corner of 6th and H Street, is the DC Metro Area's first supplier of roller derby gear, the *Rad "Department of Skate"

Owned and operated by DC Rollergirls stars, the "inimitable Velocityraptor" and the "incomparable Helena Handbag" the Department of Skate is the first , and only full service, store dedicated to roller derby skate gear in the DMV. From casual street skating to international competition Department of Skate have you covered. So even if you don't know a *Blocker from a *Jammer, you will get help deciding exactly which product and fit you need from the people that know..

All products sold by Department of Skate have been selected and tested by the Secretaries of Skate

The store is well stocked so you should find what you want, but if not, don't worry they will get it for you. If your just a casual fan, well there are T-Shirts and other cool stuff that will make people think you know it all (like me) so form a  *Pace Line over to H Street and get geared up.
