Pekoe Acupuncture and Wellness Opens on 9th Street NW
Pekoe Acupuncture and Wellness, late of NY Ave NW. has opened at 1410 9th Street NW. Opposite O Street Market at 9th (the corner will be the new Cambria Suites Hotel)
The Washington City Paper award winner, seems to have closed on NY Ave and opened a new location.
I will try to find out more information on the move, but you can get information on Pekoe Acupuncture at their web-site, which all looks pretty cool.
According to the web site they offer a range of services besides acupuncture, like Thai Yoga, Massage Nutritional Services and Meditation.
Nice to have a another new business on 9th Street NW, drop by and welcome them to the neighborhood

I went to Pekoe several times at their NY Ave location, and they gave phenomenal deep tissue massages. My favorite therapist, Abby Dobbs, moved on to start up Kali Yoga in Columbia Heights, but no doubt they still have several great therapists there. This is a very nice addition to the neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteThank you! We're excited to join the neighborhood. I'm Dahlia one of the practitioners at Pekoe offering health coaching, Thai massage, and yoga. We have a whole crew of amazing practitioners offering acupuncture, bodywork, coaching and more. Check us out pekoedc.net!
DeleteI need to come by and chat, what is the best time? It seems quite a lot of Shaw residents want to know more about Pekoe
DeleteI go to Pekoe regularly for acupuncture and Thai yoga/massage with Nicole and Dahlia. I adore it, it is pure bliss (and it helped me with sinus infection and serious back pain on several occasions). I'm very happy to have Pekoe closer to my home and in such a cool neighborhood! Good luck and much love to Pekoe family in the new spot!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the welcome! We are terribly excited to be part of such a great neighborhood, and looking forward to bringing some adventures in alternative medicine to the community. We feel like this is a big step up for us, and so happy to have this new, beautiful space for our awesome clients!
ReplyDeleteWould love to set up a time to chat! nicole@pekoedc.net
That’s my girl!!!
ReplyDeleteNiki (Nicole) has worked extremely hard to get here, Needless to say, I’m damn proud of her, I have never met anyone who has been hit with so many challenges and just kept going.
