Internationally Acclaimed Photographer Rodney Smith to Offer Exclusive Meet & Greet Champagne Reception and Book Signing

Join Studio E Partners and The Fairfax at Embassy Row Hotel, as they welcome world famous photographer Rodney Smith for a complimentary “Meet the Artist” reception on Thursday, October 27 from 6-8 p.m. While currently on a book tour, Rodney Smith is stopping in D.C. for an intimate meeting with Studio E Partners and the Fairfax at Embassy Row Hotel. 

 

This exclusive event will offer guests the opportunity to meet the notable photographer and hear him speak about a few of his works, which will be on display in the hotel lobby. Following his talk, those interested in purchasing his new book Rodney Smith Photographs can pick up a copy at the hotel and individually meet with Smith to sign it. The Fairfax at Embassy Row Hotel will host a complimentary champagne reception with hors d’oeuvres following the meet and greet.

Rodney Smith is an internationally acclaimed photographer and author whose work has appeared in Time, Vanity Fair, Esquire and The Wall Street Journal, among other publications. He has exhibited extensively across the U.S. and Europe. For Smith, making art of substance means drawing from the past. His books include The End (Seven Editions), The Book of Books (Smart Papers), and The Hat Book (Doubleday). His newest book, Rodney Smith Photographs, comprises his writings alongside four decades of his color and iconic black & white imagery.
