Site Statement

Like every journalist, accuracy of content is a major concern of this blog. At writing, this blog has been up and running for 8 months (March 2013-Nov 2013) During this period there has only been one instance where information has turned out to be incorrect. This instance involved malicious mislabeling of art work - working with one of the artists, I was able to resolve the mislabeling and correct the site.

It is very important to me, personally, and to the success of the blog that I only publish accurate stories.
As the blog has grown many sources have offered information, for which I am very grateful. Most information that is volunteered is checked, depending on whether the source is known to me or is obviously unimpeachable. It is a habit of this blog to confirm (or at least attempt to confirm) that the information I publish is accurate. If a story is found to be incorrect or that some of the content inaccurate it is, as a matter of process, removed from the site or edited to correct. (To date removal has occurred once, recently)

The stories I publish are generally stories that show the positive - in DC and especially Shaw - if you want contention then this blog is not for you
