MVT: Philos Mezze & Wine Bar Is Going Bottomless on Mass Ave.
Philos Goes Bottomless on Mass Ave.
Bottomless Brunch from food to drink
Philos Mezze + Wine Bar offers patrons the opportunity to go bottomless every Saturday and Sunday. Of course a Bottomless Brunch concept isn’t new…but at Philos, there is a difference. While a standard a la carte brunch is available from 11 am-4 pm, from 11 am-2 pm, the bottomless option allows diners to have unlimited food and drink for a $35 prix fixe.
THE BOTTOMLESS:
Stuff-your-face options include everything from classic Mezze such as Hummus, Baba Ghanouj and Tzatziki to salads, egg dishes and a variety of crepes along with Mimosas, Bloody Marys, select beers and red and white wine and Sangria; as much as any diner can eat or drink.
Of course as with any endurance sport, there are rules.
THE RULES:
1. The entire table needs to participate
2. There is a two hour time limit from the ‘start line’
3. The entire party must be present to be seated
4. Restaurant reserves the right to cut off guests if intoxication is suspected
5. Last reservation is seated at 3 pm
Naturally, Philos does expect patrons to wear pants, but they are happy to offer any and all the opportunity to go Bottomless over the weekends.
Philos Mezze + Wine Bar is open Monday through Thursday from 4 pm until midnight; Friday from 4 pm through 1 am; Saturday 11 am- 1 am and Sunday from 11 am –midnight.
The restaurant is located at 401 Massachusetts Avenue in Washington, DC.
