WEST END: Toast The New Year in A Communal Setting at Blue Duck Tavern's Signature Chef's Table
The Michelin-starred Blue Duck Tavern at Park Hyatt Washington, D.C. will celebrate the incoming New Year with a unique Chef’s Table experience available exclusively on Sunday, December 31st. Situated just beyond Blue Duck Tavern’s open kitchen and main dining room, the Chef’s Table will offer communal seating for up to 18 guests on this particular evening. Here, diners have the opportunity to toast to a New Year while enjoying a Chef’s selection of dishes, including many of which are not available on the menu, and great finds the chefs obtain exclusively for the private dinner. The menu will be custom created 24 to 48 hours in advance to be able to feature the freshest seasonal ingredients sourced from local purveyors. Additionally, Executive Chef Troy Knapp and Chef de Cuisine Daniel Hoefler will interact with guests as they dine family-style, presenting their dishes and answering any questions one may have. This exclusive experience is ideal place for couples and small groups of friends who are looking to make new acquaintances this holiday season.
The Chef's Table experience is priced at $350 (exclusive of tax and gratuity), and includes a four-course menu with wine pairings, a Champagne toast and admission to the Lounge NYE Party. Party-goers in the Lounge will receive premium open bar with Champagne and specialty cocktails from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., along with live music featuring contemporary and classic hits until 1 a.m., sumptuous small plates, Champagne toast at midnight, and decedent dessert table by Blue Duck Tavern’s culinary team.
