CONGRESS HEIGHTS: "GLUDAY Festival" Returns to Gateway Pavillion - June 25

On June 25th at the DC Gateway Pavilion, located at 1100 Alabama Ave SE, Live Life Events LLC/GLU Enterprises LLC. is presenting the "GLUDAY Festival". This event was started and is put on by a local clothing line named Good Life University, which is under the umbrella company of GLU Enterprises. In 4 years this event has grown into a "must attend" in the DMV. It started off as just an annual "Cookout", and has now evolved into a huge festival. The 1st Cookout was at a park with 400+ attendees in 2013. The 2nd cookout, named the "GoodLifeCookout", was in a huge, renovated plot of land, with 2500 attendees in 2014. The 3rd annual "GoodLifeCookout", labeled the "Homecoming", which was at the current location at the Gateway DC Pavilion, had 5200 attendees in 2015. So this is a growing festival tear over year.

 For last years event GLUDAY had platinum selling producer "Metro Boomin" as a guest DJ.  I am told that this years event will be a Crazy, Wild, Rock star-styled affair, with a hectic mosh pit, performance by the "La Flame" Travis Scott and the event will be hosted by Miami's own Julz Goddard – a.k.a "YesJulz".
