SHAW: Blagden Alley Gets a Few More Murals
Blagden Alley has become a a central point in South Shaw, not just because of the restaurants - people are coming to take photo's of all the street art.
Kelly Towles has added 3 new panels in the doorway of 926 N Street NW (Rear). To get your photo's, this is going to take a little timing on your part, as the doors are often closed.
Behind Miss Chelove's "7th & E Street NW DC" mural which is done on the garage door, Kelly Towles has installed his panels 2 on the exterior, 1 on the interior of the offices (you will need permission to photo this one) The small murals are colorful, and a little weird (as you would expect from the creative mind of Kelly Towles).
If you have been following the Alley Museum, this is something new for you - if you are new to this, then you are missing out and a trip is in order.
