WASHINGTON DC: Boutique Property Management Company Nest DC Launches New Company Roost DC
DC’s most recognized boutique property management company, Nest DC, announced today its expansion with the official launch of their new sister company, Roost DC. Employee-owned Roost DC focuses on managing condo associations and cooperatives throughout the District of Columbia. Roost builds on the successful seven-year track record of Nest DC, which provides one-of-a-kind property management and design services for residential real estate throughout the city.
Roost DC already tends to 40 buildings, providing best-in-class management services including governance, accounting and finance, administration, and a full-service maintenance and preservation program. Those properties are as varied as converted Capitol Hill mansions, buildings purchased through tenant advocacy programs, and to newly constructed eight-story Logan Circle developments. Like Nest DC, Roost DC is a socially responsible business that is deeply rooted in the city’s well-being. From fundraising to food drives, Roost partners with essential city non-profits including Bread for the City, La ClĂnica del Pueblo, Capital Area Food Bank, and The Washington Humane Society, to name a few.

“Building Roost DC is perhaps my proudest professional achievement”, said Lisa Wise CEO/Chief Nester. “As an employee-owned company, together with my co-founders, we have a chance to redefine a field that has been longing for a customer forward approach to management. With a team that is made up of owners, the commitment to excellence is our economic engine. The winner? The city and the citizen. Stronger communities are anchored by well-maintained spaces and places. We’re thrilled to call ourselves stewards in this community.”
