The Monkey, or “hóu”, is the ninth sign of the Chinese Zodiac
calendar, which consists of 12 animal signs. The monkey is a clever
animal. In Eastern philosophy, those born in the Year of the Monkey are
believed to be smart, clever and intelligent, especially in their
career and wealth. They are said to be lively, flexible, quick-witted
and versatile. In addition, their gentleness and honesty bring them an
everlasting love life.
