TYSONS: Richard Sandoval’s Virginia Restaurant, La Sandia, Debuts "Vámonos Express Lunch"

La Sandia, located in Tysons Corner Center at 7852L Tysons Corner Center, has announced the debut of its new Vámonos Express Lunch available Monday through Friday, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mexican born and internationally recognized Chef Richard Sandoval is presenting the new lunch at an exceptional price of $9.95 per person (tax and gratuity not included), making it a great choice for those looking for a satisfying, quick midday meal. Made from scratch and artfully prepared by Chef de Cuisine Miguel Martinez, the new Vámonos Express Lunch includes the choice of a starter, soup or half-portion size salad on the featured menu, paired with the choice of entrée. At La Sandia, Sandoval’s menu showcases modern Mexican cuisine alongside over 200 fine Tequilas. Lunch guests will enjoy this new dining experience inspired by Sandoval’s culinary mantra of ‘old ways, new hands’.
Starter, soup and salad options include Guacamole & Chips; Tortilla Soup with crema fresca, crispy tortilla, chicken and panela; Butternut Squash Soup with spicy pepitas and piloncillo; Tomato Bisque with crema fresca and crispy basil; Chile Verde Pork Stew, slow roasted pork and green chile, served with flour tortillas; La Sandia Chopped Salad, crispy bacon, roasted corn, tomato, egg, black beans, panela chickpeas, green onion, lettuce mix and avocado vinaigrette, or the La Sandia BBQ Chicken Salad, BBQ chicken breast, tomato, corn, panela cheese, black beans, lettuce mix and crispy tortilla, served with a cilantro-ranch dressing.
Entrée highlights include Two Enchiladas, choice of chicken or rajas, served with Mexican rice and charro beans; Two Tacos, choice of chicken or mushroom, served with guacamole and pico de gallo; Vegetarian Burrito with charred vegetables, Mexican rice, beans and guacamole; The Pepito Torta with carne asada, avocado, black bean, Oaxaca cheese and chili aioli, and the Chicken Zarape (half-portion size), pan seared chicken, bacon, panela, pico de gallo and chipotle cream sauce, served with refried beans and creamy white rice.

La Sandia is open for lunch daily, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. 
Dinner is available Monday through Thursday, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday through Saturday, from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. 
Brunch is served Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. 
Happy Hour is also available at the bar Sunday through Friday, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
