MVT: Silo Welcomes the Neighborhood

Silo announces that brunch begins this weekend! Saturdays and Sundays 11am-2:30pm........Featuring $14 Bottomless Mimosas and an array of delicious brunchy items!

Silo's Reza Akhavan invited the neighborhood, and the neighborhood came (all of them it seems)

From 5 till 7pm the local community braved the cold to welcome Silo

The restaurant Silo has only been open a matter of weeks, and already it has the feel of a place the community can come and eat and just hangout after. From the moment that the doors opened at 5pm today, the crowds gathered to welcome and be welcomed by Reza, who was on hand to greet almost everyone. No sooner than 10 or 12 people departed, than they were replaced in equal or larger amounts.

The "Neighborhood Welcome" seems to be the new tradition in Mount Vernon Triangle, as it becomes 'the thing to do' on opening a restaurant or business. Tonight's welcome can only be described as successful. Welcome to Mount Vernon Triangle, Reza, George, Charlotte and the Silo team.

Hours are:

Tuesday-Thursday, Sunday: 5pm – 10pm (kitchen), 5pm – 1am (bar)

Friday and Saturday:  5pm – 11pm (kitchen), 5pm – 2am (bar)

Closed Mondays.

Silo has already added a lunch menu, a sure sign of demand from its dinners. The hours for lunch are from 11:30am – 3pm Tues-Friday
