LOGAN: Black Jack to Host Oyster & Beer Tasting with Lagunitas Brewery and Barren Island Oysters - July 25th

Lagunitas Brewery and Barren Island Oyster Company Team Up for “Shuck & Chug” Tasting Event at Black Jack

On Saturday, July 25th, Maryland based oyster company, Barren Island Oysters, will partner with California brewery, Lagunitas, for a day of oyster and beer tasting at Black Jack. 

Barren Island Oyster Company owner Tim Devine will be on-site to mingle with guests and answer questions about his Chesapeake Bay oyster farm. A photo and video montage will be on display, offering guests an inside look at Barren Island’s cultivation practices.

While there is no formal pairing, attendees can get creative with their own beer pairing choices as Lagunitas will provide a variety of styles as well as “swag” to take home.

Black Jack/Pearl Dive Executive Chef, Colleen Conrad, will whip up passed bites, including the popular shrimp po’ boy sandwich, mini campeches and angels on horseback.
