TAKOMA: New Three Course Lunch Special Offered at Republic

 Something new at Republic in Takoma.
A new three course lunch special at Republic, available for $16, designed to get you in and out within one hour. The new offering, "Straight Lunchin'" will allow you to select two courses and dessert and is available Monday through Friday from 11:30am-2:30pm. An option to add a mini beer or a glass of wine for an additional $5 is available as well. 

Pick from one of the following options for each course: 

First Course:
Cup of seasonal soup
Mixed Field Greens Salad with toasted pumpkin seeds, shaved radish and aged sherry vinaigrette
Ancient Grains Salad with pomegranate, pistachios and mint
Wood Grilled Rhode Island Calamari with arugula, pesto and pickled peppers 

Second Course:
Addie's Mussels with tomato, garlic and lemon
Wood Grilled PA Chicken with red beans, smoked bacon, avocado and cilantro
1/2 Republic Po' Boy (choice of crispy Bay oysters, Gulf shrimp, or blackened wild blue VA catfish) served with lettuce, pickles, tartar sauce and lemon, choice of fries or salad on the side
House Made Falafel with wood grilled pita, quinoa tabbouli, pickled red cabbage and goat cheese tzatziki 

Third Course:
House made ice cream or sorbet
Vanilla Crème Brûlée with seasonal fruit garnish

Republic is located four blocks from the Takoma Park Metro Station, at 6939 Laurel Avenue, Takoma Park, Md., 20912. Parking is free in the lot at the intersection of Carroll and Laurel Avenue for customers with validation.
