GEORGETOWN: Georgetown Events Gears Up for Halloween 2015 with Three Events
Halloween 2015 is going to be quite the occasion for Georgetown Events, the DC-based restaurant and event group, is hosting three fun-filled events on Saturday, October 31st. Founder Bo Blair is looking forward to hosting events that have something for everyone, from family activities such as the Pumpkin Rock ‘N Roll, to late-night celebrations at Bayou and the Sphinx Club for the younger Washingtonian crowd.
Here, families will gather and enjoy live music from Sean Gaiser of GIGS Studios, great food from local food trucks, fun games for kids of all ages, costume contests, and most importantly, pumpkin racing. Families can design and build a boxcar constructed out of a pumpkin, which will be raced from the sloping driveway of the Warner Mansion. Derby racers must register ahead of time on the event’s website, www.pumpkinrocknroll.com.
