WASHINGTON DC: Sing Your CASS Off: A Karaoke Battle for Safe Public Spaces - October 22nd

For one night only, performers from across the DMV will come together for a Karaoke Battle Royale, all to raise money for a fantastic cause. 

Collective Action for Safe Spaces, CASS, is a grassroots nonprofit focused on ending street harassment and public sexual assault. District Karaoke is a social, team-based karaoke league focused on squashing inhibitions and raising musical awareness. The two are joining forces to bring you Sing Your CASS Off, an interactive karaoke event where you can help choose the winner. Every audience member will get to vote alongside a panel of guest judges to determine the true karaoke champion.

Join CASS, DC Brau, Congressional Chorus, Zipcar, DC Bocce, Woolly Mammoth Theatre, representatives from the Washington Nationals as they compete for karaoke glory.

Tickets come with two complimentary drinks, and the first 50 tickets are entered to win a DC Brau merchandise bag, valued at $75!

All proceeds from the event will go to sustain and grow current CASS programs, such as RightRides DC, a safe rides program for women and LGBTQ-identifying individuals, a sexual assault prevention training program for bar staff and continued Metro campaigns in partnership with WMATA.
