CLARENDON: BABA - Popular Restaurants Celebrate Halloween #1

If one has no spooky plans for Halloween 2017, here are some of the most popular restaurants, who will be celebrating Halloween throughout the month of October with costume contests as well as festive food and drink specials. 
BABA, the sister bar/restaurant to Ambar Clarendon, will be hosting a Prohibition-Themed Costume Party on Saturday October 28th.  There is a $5 cover charge for guests who arrive between 6-8 PM, and a $20 cover charge for guests who arrive between 8-11 PM. However, those who make dinner reservations on Saturday, October 28th do not have to pay a cover.  On this festive evening, guests will receive one complimentary cocktail upon arrival, the Prohibited Secret. This libation is made from a combination of bourbon, cinnamon syrup, lemon juice, grapefruit and absinthe spray. Partygoers will also receive complimentary passed hors d’oeuvres, which include Prosciutto Croquets, Gouda Sticks and Pumpkin Crash, bite-size balls of roasted pumpkin, grind biscuit, coconut flakes and rousted pine nuts.  Guests are encouraged to dress in their 1920’s finest as three awards will be given out in the following categories: "Best Costume" will receive dinner for two at Amber Clarendon; "Best Out of Category” will receive brunch for two at BABA, and “Best Couples Costume” will receive a $75 bar tab at BABA.
