DUPONT CIRCLE: La Boum Moves to St Yves, Kicks off New Season with Celebrity Hosts
DC’s favorite day party, La Boum Brunch is delighted to announce they have moved to the “extravagant” and “photographable” new Dupont Circle club St. Yves. The move comes just in time for a string of celebrity hosted brunch parties.
Tickets are currently on sale for Sunday brunch with
Raja Gemini, season three winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race
on October 22, premier Cher impersonator Chad Michaels on November 5,
and La Boum veteran, Emmy Award winning television personality, actor and designer Carson Kressley on November 19. Tickets are going fast and must be purchased in advance at www.laboumbrunch.com.
La Boum is excited to join the movement towards cellphone-free events. Beginning in November, customers will enjoy the La Boum experience without intrusive, digital distractions thanks to Yondr technology. Yonder uses a special case that locks over digital devices until the end of the event, allowing revelers to maintain possession of their phones without worry. If at any point attendees need to use their phones, they simply step outside the phone-free zone to unlock the case.
La Boum Brunch has outgrown its location two times since beginning nearly seven years ago. After countless awards for “Best Brunch,” the epic brunch party continues to get bigger, better and boum-ier.
One of Bravo TVs “Top 5 Raging Brunches in the US” this revolutionary style brunch takes its name from the French slang for “house party.” “We’re not just throwing a party. We’re pretending our parents are away for the weekend, we have the keys to the liquor cabinet and our friend KC is DJing," said co-founder Jim Ball.
Guests will enjoy a delicious brunch as the DJ spins an infectious playlist. With smart twists, La Boum turns the mundane meal into a legendary brunch with never a dull moment.
Tickets for La Boum Brunch must be purchased in advance at www.LaBoumBrunch.com and typically sell out weeks in advance.
