U STREET: DC Area Native, Jazz Artist Gracie Terzian, Comes to Washington DC - Twins Jazz Club September 30

DC area native jazz artist, Gracie Terzian, comes to Washington, DC this fall for a special homecoming performance at Twins Jazz Club (1344 U St. NW, Washington, DC 20009) on September 30, 2015. Twins Jazz Club has been voted by AOL City Guide as one of “The Best Live Music Clubs” in DC and was also one of Downbeat’s “Top 100 Jazz Clubs in the World.” The show's are at 8 and 10 p.m.and only has a $10 cover.

Gracie Terzian recently released her debut EP, Saints and Poets, this past May. Featuring six originals written and performed by Terzian, Saints and Poets debuted at #23 on Billboard's Jazz charts and as the #3 Jazz Album on iTunes. Originally from Northern Virginia and now based in Astoria, Queens, Gracie Terzian performs regularly throughout NYC, including a weekly residency with her band at popular rooftop venue, Bar Hugo, in the West Village.
PopWrapped describes Terzian’s original songs on her album as “melodies [that] retain a classic tinge while being infused with a modern 21st century touch.”
