BROOKLAND: Brookland’s Finest Hosts Port City Mixology Night and October Beer Dinner Series
Brookland’s Finest and Port City Brewing Company will host Port City Mixology Night at Brookland’s Finest on Monday, September 28th, which will kick off a month-long series of beer dinners with special pairings and a prix fixe menu by Brookland’s Finest chef/partner Shannan Troncoso.
The September 28th Mixology Night will feature seven Port City beers on tap, which will yield 14 featured beer mixes, and three different beer cocktails. Chef Troncoso has come up with suggested dishes to accompany each beer mix.
The Port City ($8) mixes will include:
First Course: A Chincoteague Revival
Fried Oysters served with Cherry Bomb Chili Sauce and Cilantro
Paired with Revival Oyster Stout 5.5% ABV
Second Course: Maniacal Lamb Curry
Lamb Curry with Carrots, Potatoes, Onions, and Seasonal Mushrooms in a Spicy Boozy Broth
Paired with Maniacal Double IPA 8.5% ABV
Third Course: Colossal Float
Salted Caramel Praline Ice Cream with Triple Chocolate Brownie Croutons
Paired with Colossal One Belgian Imperial Stout 9.5% ABV

- Ways & Means/Essential Pale Ale/Maniacal DIPA (suggested pairings: pretzel bites, brussels sprout chips, spiced nuts, pork chop, seared salmon)
- Jamexican Bodega Cobbler (Captain Morgan, simple syrup, lemon juice & Essential Pale Ale)
- Sparkling Stout (Colossal One, Prosecco, bitters, raw suga
- Strange Brew (Pineapple juice, house made ginger syrup, gin, Monumental IPA)
