Guests will begin their meal with a choice of The Blackwall Salad with fresh field greens, grape tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, diced red onions and shredded carrots, dressed in a signature Blackwall Hitch house vinaigrette dressing, or Butternut Squash & Fennel Soup, butternut squash and fennel simmered with aromatic vegetables, garnished with apple cider cream and toasted pumpkin seeds. Next up is a choice of one surf option and one turf option from the featured menu, served with butter-whipped potatoes and a seasonal vegetable. Highlights from the Surf section of the menu include Shrimp with Creole Butter, poached shrimp with Creole butter, white wine, garlic and scallions; Jumbo Lump Crab with Lemon Butter, jumbo lump crab-meat baked with lemon-butter sauce; Sweet Bay Scallops Marinara, sweet bay scallops baked in a house marinara sauce, or the Blackened Mahi Mahi with Avocado Cream, blackened pan-seared Mahi Mahi drizzled with avocado cream sauce. Standouts found on the Turf section of the menu include Long Island Duck Confit, crispy maple leaf duck leg confit dressed with pomegranate-cider vinaigrette; Chicken Breast with Basil Oil, grilled chicken breast drizzled with basil oil; Top Sirloin, 6 oz. top sirloin accompanied by Blackwall Hitch’s signature steak house, or the Bierig Brothers Farm Lamb Loin Chop, 6 oz. grilled lamb loin chop, locally sourced from Vineland, NJ, crusted with pistachio-whole grain mustard butter. To complete the meal on a sweet note, guests can enjoy traditional desserts such as Smith Island Cake, official state dessert of Maryland consisting of eight to ten layers of sumptuous yellow cake slathered in rich, buttery frosting, made locally by Smith Island Cake Company and delivered fresh, or Classic New York Cheesecake with Strawberry Sauce, the Empire State’s most famous dessert, decadently rich & silky and drizzled with fresh strawberry sauce.
