ALEXANDRIA: Bordeaux at Bastille - Five-course Menu Paired with Bordeaux - January 11

On Wednesday, January 11th beginning at 6 pm, Chefs Christophe & Michelle Poteaux present a spectacular five-course Bordeaux dinner with vintages from Elite Imports at Bastille located in Old Town Alexandria. 

The $99 prix fixe menu includes an Amuse-Bouche of Fried oysters paired with Kir, Entre-Deux-Mers followed by La salade de homard--lobster salad with mango, avocado, orange, frisée, and chive paired with Chateau Bel-Air, Grave Blanc 2013 (65% Sauvignon Blanc, 35% Sémillon); Le Confit de canard--Moullard duck leg confit, lentils ragout and mushroom jus paired with Lacoste-Borie, Pauillac 2011(55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, 5%Cabernet Franc); La piece de boeuf--roasted Angus strip loin, long pepper-cocoa sauce, caramelized endive, glazed carrots and shallots paired with Les Fiefs de Lagrange, Saint-Julien 2011(60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot) and Chef Michelle’s dessert of Le Roquefort, Roquefort panna cotta, candied nuts, winter fruits compote,and fruit-nut bread with Chateau Justices, Sauternes 2012 (100% Sémillon).
