New Asian Restaurant Umaya at 733 10th Street NW, Starts Work/Permits
I reported on Umaya, a restaurant venture by the owners of Cafe Asia. (17th & I Streets) back in January.
Happy to report that work has begun, and there is an ABRA permit request attached to the door.
So here is what I know (based on the license request);
Restaurant Sunday through Thursday 8am till 2am
Friday and Saturday 8am till 3am
Alcohol Sunday through Thursday 10am till 2am
Friday and Saturday 10am till 3am
Entertainment Sunday through Saturday 6pm till 4am (I am assuming this is to cover private events)
Sidewalk Cafe Sunday through Thursday 8am till 2am
Friday and Saturday 8am till 5am
Alcohol Sunday through Thursday 11am till 2am
Friday and Saturday 11am till 3am
Entertainment Sunday through Thursday 6pm till 2am
Friday and Saturday 6pm till 3am
It remains to be seen whether or not these hours will fly, maybe, there are no residences to disturb, still Umaya will be a welcome addition to 10th Street whatever the hours.
more to come on this I'm sure
