New Mosaic in Blagden Alley

Craig Nelson has produced a new mosaic, on display in Blagden Alley. This maybe his best yet, it is breathtaking. (my photographs cannot do it justice, you have to go see for yourselves)
Created from a 1924 Photo taken at the same spot as its now displayed
Craig Nelson has included a description on the rear of the piece, this is it verbatim
Sitting on Steps in Blagden Alley in 1924
This mosaic is comprised of more than 35,000 natural stone tiles (mosaicartsupply.com)
It is from an old photo I found at shorpy.com. The Photo was taken in this spot in 1924 of, presumably, a resident sitting in front of a building which was where the parking lot is now.
He has long strands of cotton hanging from his mouth and is, I'm guessing, making yarn - perhaps to mend the large rip in his overcoat.

In perspective of the location
You can find this mosaic out-side of Craig's Studio, but there are a number of his pieces throughout Blagden Alley.
