MVT: Aura Spa to Open at VIDA Fitness-City Vista on August 15

Serenity and relaxation is coming to City Vista. Urban Adventures Companies, Inc. (UAC), the DC-based urban lifestyle and entertainment company, announced today that a new Aura Spa will open at VIDA Fitness-City Vista on Monday, August 15 at 445 K Street NW, which is part of the City Vista mixed-use development in DC’s Mount Vernon neighborhood. Located inside VIDA Fitness and positioned directly off the lobby, the new 480-square-foot Aura Spa will feature two 135-square-foot treatment spaces, which includes one state-of-the-art esthetic skincare room and one massage room. The innovative esthetician space hosts a variety of nourishing skincare services from clinical and organic facials to cost effective waxing. The City Vista site will be the company’s fifth location.

Designed by UAC and Stonking-von Storch Architects of Charlottesville, VA, the newest Aura Spa features soothing design finishes of an Asian-modern aesthetic that incorporates recycled materials into its interior design, featuring reclaimed wood furniture, marble sink tops, LED lights, vinyl flooring and a combination of stone and earth tone painted walls. Dim, calm lighting is emitted from bronze sconces throughout the space.
