THE YARDS: ALS Silent Auction Fundraiser at VIDA's Penthouse Pool Club at The Yards - June 4

Meet This Year’s Event Emcees 94.7 Fresh FM Radio Personalities Tommy McFly, Kelly Collis and Jen Richer as they Auction Themselves Off for a Live Ice Bucket Challenge

Let’s get soakin’ wet! The Tommy Show team is getting drenched again at the Penthouse Pool Club – all for a good cause. Join VIDA Fitness’ Penthouse Pool & Lounge at The Yards for an upscale rooftop and poolside evening on Saturday, June 4 to raise funds for ALS. 

The event will include a silent auction to benefit Augie’s Quest, a nonprofit research initiative dedicated to finding a cure for Amyotrophic Laterals Sclerosis (ALS). Morning talk show hosts Tommy McFly, Kelly Collis and Jen Richer from 94.7 Fresh FM’s The Tommy Show will emcee the fundraising event and auction themselves off to the highest bidders as Ice Bucket Challenge dumping targets. 

Last year’s VIDA Fitness ALS Silent Auction event raised more than $26,000 

with this year’s goal set at $32,000. 

The silent auction benefit will run from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. and feature complimentary food from the Penthouse Pool Club’s new menu designed by Vucurevich Simon Advisory Group, the team behind Founding Farmers and Farmers Fishers Bakers. DJ Danny House will spin house tracks while guests have the opportunity to bid on numerous silent auction items from DC area retailers and restaurants. Cocktail attire is required for this public event. 

Tickets are $30 and can be purchased at: vidafitness.com/alsevent. Guests may also sponsor the event at $2000, which includes 10 event tickets and access to a cabana suite with bottle service and one complimentary bottle. This year’s silent auction donors include: WellnessMats, PRECOR, The Bike Rack DC, Studio Theatre, Aura Spa, Renaissance Washington, DC Downtown Hotel, Woodway Treadmills and more.
