PENN QTR: Colon Cancer Alliance & NFLPA Betting On a Cure at Annual Casino & Football Tailgate Party - Hulkower Hold'em Set for Sept. 14

The Colon Cancer Alliance, in partnership with The Mark Hulkower Foundation will host its Annual Hulkower Hold’em & Tailgate Party on Thursday, September 14 from 6:00-10:00 p.m. The event, in its 6th year, will feature poker and casino gaming, Thursday Night NFL game watching featuring the Texans vs. Bengals, and former NFL athletes & special guest appearances by The Sports Junkies from 106.7 The Fan. Guests who participate the poker tournament have a chance the win the Poker Grand Prize of tickets to Super Bowl LII on Sunday February 4, 2018, in Minneapolis, MN compliments of longtime event partner the NFL Players Association. The event will also include savory bites and sips and its popular silent auction.

The event is in memory of prominent Washington, D.C. Attorney Mark Hulkower, who passed away from colon cancer in February 2011. He was 53 years old. He won acquittals in a number of high-profile cases, including the prosecutions of former Teamsters Union president Ron Carey and former Tyco General Counsel Mark Belnick. Known for his brilliant examinations and persuasive advocacy, he was consistently recognized as one of the top trial lawyers in the country.

The funds raised will support the Colon Cancer Alliance’s mission and national programs which champion prevention, fund cutting-edge research and provide the highest quality patient support services. Proceeds will also support the Mark Hulkower Fund and the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center located in Washington, DC.

Tickets to the event are $125 for General Admission tickets which includes casino gaming money and $250 for Poker Tournament tickets which includes admission into the tournament plus casino gaming money.
