SILVER SPRING: All Set Restaurant & Bar to 'Steak It Out' This September


All Set Restaurant & Bar will celebrate the return of fall with its 'Steak It Out' promotion. Crafted by Executive Chef Edward Reavis, the menu showcases dishes that are inspired from time spent working as lead broiler cook at a local steakhouse during the early years of his career. Diners can look forward to classic steakhouse favorites including five popular steak entrĂ©es along with starters and sides that pair well with All Set’s signature raw bar. This exclusive menu will be available in addition to the restaurant’s seasonal lunch and dinner menus from September 1-30.
Signature steak entrées include the 5oz. Sirloin with red wine demi glace, thick cut onion ring and Lyonnaise potatoes, priced at $15; 5oz. Flat Iron with cognac cream sauce and roasted fingerling potatoes, priced at $15; 8oz. Hanger Steak with truffle fries, priced at $19; SURF & TURF, 4oz Filet with lobster claw, drawn butter and mashed potatoes, priced at $22, as well as the Prime Rib with horseradish cream, au jus and loaded baked potato, priced at market value with limited availability.
For the perfect pairing, guests can savor classic steakhouse starters and sides such as their Clam Chowder with bacon and Old Bay crackers; Caesar Salad with romaine, baby kale, chicken cracklings and parmesan; Classic Wedge with iceberg, heirloom cherry tomatoes, bleu cheese, bacon and crispy shallots; Oysters Rockefeller with creamed spinach and jalapeño bacon; Fried Calamari with hot cherry peppers and cocktail sauce; Creamed Spinach with parmesan, cream cheese and Tabasco; Loaded Baked Potato with Vermont cheddar, sour cream, chives and bacon; Truffle French Fries with truffle oil and parsley, as well as String Beans with garlic. Starters and sides range in price from $5 to $13 each.
Guest can also enjoy dishes from All Set’s popular raw bar menu, which includes Crab Cocktail with cocktail sauce, horseradish cream and mixed greens; Tuna Tartare with avocado, white soy wasabi and cilantro oil, served with yucca chips; Shrimp Cocktail with rosemary oil, chives, cocktail sauce and mixed greens; Littleneck Clams; The Woods Hole with six oysters on the half shell, four littleneck clams and crab cocktail, as well as Cape Cod Bay with 12 oysters on the half shell, six littleneck clams, two chilled shrimp and crab cocktail. Raw bar items range in price from $1.50 to $60 each.
