PENN QTR: Sushi Making Demo and Chef's Table Events at the Source - Aug 15 & 22


There are two upcoming events led by newly appointed executive chef at the Source by Wolfgang Puck, Russell Smith. He’ll host a sushi making demo on August 15 followed by dinner, and on August 22 he’ll prepare a 16-course tasting menu at the chef’s counter.

On Tuesday, August 15, The Source by Wolfgang Puck will host a sushi roll demonstration led by newly appointed executive chef Russell Smith. This class will teach guests how to create a classic California roll and a vegetable roll, followed by a dinner of sushi, sashimi and nigiri, along with various house-made dumplings, shrimp fried rice, squid ink pasta and small bites for dessert. Tickets, available for purchase here, are priced at $75 per person and include a welcome cocktail, the chef demo and dinner. The class begins at 6:00 p.m. and more information can be found here.

On Tuesday, August 22nd, guests can join Chef Russell for an intimate 16-course tasting at the chef’s counter. The menu includes various seafood, vegetable and meat courses, such as Cobia Ceviche with bamboo shoots and coconut milk, Vegetable Chive Dumplings with vegetarian XO sauce, and Wagyu beef short ribs, each accompanied by a wine pairing.
