WASHINGTON DC: Football, Valentine's Day, Mardi Gras and Seasonal Flavors at Astro Doughnuts

Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken has a full lineup of menu additions for the month of February including their rotation of special monthly flavors, a Super Bowl chicken and doughnut package, a Valentine’s Day mini doughnut box and a special Mardi Gras king cake doughnut.

• In honor of the Super Bowl, a special doughnut and wing package will be available with 6 football shaped Boston Cream doughnuts and 24 honey Sriracha or Korean BBQ wings. The doughnut and chicken package is available for $48. In addition, Astro will offer a half dozen box of the football shaped Boston Cream doughnuts for $15. Individual football doughnuts are available for $3.10 each. The chicken and doughnuts will be available at both stores on February 5th and are also available for pre-order.

•  Beginning on Friday, February 3, the month-long lineup of special flavors featured include:o 

• Blood Orange Mimosa ($3.10): blood orange champagne glaze, chocolate drizzle, gold sprinkles   
• Red Velvet ($2.85): cream cheese glaze, red velvet cake crumbs  
• Grand Marnier Chocolate Truffle ($3.10): chocolate cake doughnut, milk chocolate glaze, bittersweet chocolate Grand Marnier ganache, cocoa powder dusting  
• Raspberry Rose ($3.10): raspberry rose water glaze, house-made raspberry jam filling, red drizzle, chocolate curls.

A box of Valentine’s Day mini doughnuts ($22) will be available for pre-order and at both store locations on February 14th only. The flavors include:

• 2 Blood Orange Mimosa mini doughnuts
• 3 Red Velvet mini doughnuts
• 3 Grand Marnier Chocolate Truffle mini doughnuts
• 2 Raspberry Rose mini doughnuts
• 2 Crème Brulee mini doughnuts

Finally, a Mardi Gras King Cake doughnut (no baby included) will be available for $3.10 and on sale at both store locations and for pre-order on February 28th.
