WASHINGTON DC: Michael Schlow Hoagie at Taylor Gourmet Benefits Chance for Life - Starts March 1

James Beard award winning chef Michael Schlow is teaming up with Taylor Gourmet to create a limited edition hoagie, The Alta Strada. The sandwich, named for Schlow’s Italian restaurant, features house-roasted turkey and imported ham topped with herbed fresh mozzarella, charred tomato, marinated long hot peppers, shredded lettuce, shaved red onion, extra virgin olive oil and Michael’s Ultimate Vinaigrette. The hoagie will be priced at $7.99 for a regular and $11.99 for a large and all proceeds from the Alta Strada will go to Chance for Life. 

Additionally, on April 1, golden tickets will be awarded at random to guests who purchase the Alta Strada. The ticket will provide complimentary entrance to Chance for Life’s Food and Wine tasting and after party when recipients share a photo of themselves on one of the listed social media channels. 

The Alta Strada hoagie will be available March 1-14 at all Taylor Gourmet locations (excluding National Airport).
