SHAW: TAKODA Restaurant & Beer Garden Presents Two New Exclusive Dinners This Spring
TAKODA, the contemporary American
restaurant and rooftop beer garden located at 715 Florida Avenue, NW, has announce two exclusive three-course dinners this
spring.
On Wednesday, March 8th, 2017, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., TAKODA will host a guided tasting and dinner to show the differences in color, consistency and flavor profiles of whiskeys produced in the US. Guests of this special evening will explore the whiskeys, which have been carefully selected by General Manager Sean MacDonald to complement a three-course dinner created by Chef Damian Brown. Tickets are priced at $55 per person (tax and gratuity not included). Whiskeys featured for the evening include Basil Hayden, Baker’s Bourbon and Knob Creek Rye to name a few.

Then on Tuesday, April 4th, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.,
TAKODA will host a beer dinner featuring craft brews from Firestone
Walker Brewing Company, Hardywood Park Craft Brewery, and more. Guests
attending this special evening will have the pleasure of enjoying local,
seasonal beers selected by beer enthusiast Assistant General Manager
Rob Benning paired with a three-course dinner created by Chef Damian
Brown. Tickets are priced at $45 per person (excluding tax and
gratuity). Among the beers featured for the evening are Luponic
Distortion and Hardywood Singel.
