On Sunday October 1, Toki Underground will partner with Chaia, the popular Georgetown vegetarian taco restaurant, for a one-time pop-up at the H Street ramen house. The two restaurants have come together to serve a special menu of Asian and Latin fare and, the limited time offerings will be available at Toki Underground, only, between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday the 1st of October.
Menu items feature a taco trio with enoki mushrooms, ginger, lime and tarragon yogurt; sides include a celery root slaw and root vegetable broth with black garlic, and a dessert of Japanese arroz con coconut leche with date caramel, rounds out the menu. Special cocktails will also be available including a kimchi bloody mary, grapefruit maragraita, and more. Chaia will plan to feature one of the three tacos on their menu between October 16 and October 20.
